San Marcos Frames is a company established in the year 2000 by Gustavo, Santiago and Julian Sinisterra, Colombian entrepreneurs with an artistic family history. Because of their dedication, sense of beauty and ability to create a team of uncompromising artisans, they have been able to place their products in international markets with incredible acceptance in a very short time frame.

We are a company exporting beauty. We work with nature using resources carefully from companies that feel the same way regarding ecology in the world we all share. We are always developing new designs, products and artisan technology, offering our customers a truly unique product.

In reality we don't export products, we export beauty that is a work of love. We make the talent and creativity of the olombian Artisan available to the whole world. In this manner, every member of the San Marcos team is contributing to the economic growth and social equity in our country.

In recognition of our labor, SMF was awarded “1 st ” place in Exportation during 2001 and “2 nd ” place during 2002 by the Colombian Government for young entrepreneurial companies. SMF latest public recognition was awarded on November 3 rd 2004 to Gustavo, Santiago and Julian Sinisterra as “Managers of the Year” by Noti 5, the regional news channel in Cali – Colombia.

We have acquired a significant presence in the US Market by selling to the trade only, not direct to consumers. We support high-end frame stores and interior design firms and know they are the cornerstones to our future success. SMF has dealers in many states in the US and constantly we continue to grow our presence through our sales force and different trade shows. The majority of our Wholesale Customers within those states are attended directly through our representatives.

San Marcos Frames also offers unique high-end classic, contemporary and modern mirrors, hand carved moldings and wall décor accessories. Our unique position, being able to meet customer needs by adjusting the product to their specifications, constantly developing new designs to provide exclusive and non mass produced but 100% hand crafted goods, has earned SMF recognition and growing acceptance by dealers and their most demanding clients.
