1. How do I become a Dealer?

It is very easy to become a dealer. You just have to order a couple of corner samples or any promotional package and start exhibiting the product at your retail store. Please check the link specials and corner sample program for information about the latest promotions available. To register as a potential Dealer, please fill our Registration Form.


2. Who is accessible to become a Dealer?

Any picture frame store, furniture store and in general any company selling high end moldings or finish corner frames, accessories, furniture or similar products to the retail.


3. Do you charge for corner samples?

Yes, although we are subsidizing part of the cost itself, especially the cost of shipping since it is an international delivery. To make a more cost effective situation, we have developed special programs to help you get the samples that you need at a low investment. Please check the link specials and corner sample program for information about the latest promotions available.


4. Why do you charge for corner samples?

We charge for corner samples because we must guarantee that San Marcos Frames will get a quick return of the investment. If our dealers invest in the product we are sure that they will show it and promote it among their clientele, increasing the chances of a sale.


5. Can I order a printed catalogue of your moldings?


Yes. The price for each catalogue is $60, but we suggest you to order any of the kits available in our corner sample program or preferred partner program since these promotional packages include a catalogue totally free besides of the corner samples or the full size frames, maximizing your investment. 6. Why do you charge for your catalogue?

We charge for our catalogue because we must guarantee that San Marcos Frames will get a quick return of the investment. If our distributors invest in the catalogue we are sure that they will show it and promote it among their clientele, increasing the chances of a sale.


7. How do you accept payments?

Payments are received by check or credit card (Visa – Master Card – American Express). Payments made by check should be directed to:

8. What are your payment terms?

Regular order payment terms are 50% deposit and balance due prior to delivery. All specials and corner sample program orders are due up front.


9. What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is one frame for custom frames. For architectural molding the minimum order is 50 linear/ft. Otherwise we will charge you as a regular custom frame order. On other type of products such as wood bowls and photoframes the minimum order is 10 pieces, no matter the reference and combinations are accepted.


10. What is the minimum charge?

The minimum charge is 10 ft. either for frames or architectural molding.


11. What extracharges do you have?

Oversize charges:
Frames bigger than 17 ft.: 10%.
Frames bigger than 25 ft.: 20%.
Extra customization charges:
Molding width adjustment/change (Up to 3” increase/decrease): 10%.
Oil paint/engraving motif design exchange/customization: 20%.
Buildup charges up to 3” = 10%.
Buildup charges > 3” = 20%.


12. Where can I get information about prices?

If you are a dealer you can use your login and password to download updated price lists and other similar information. If you are not a dealer please contact us for pricing or quotations.


13. What is the price per foot?

Prices per foot depend on three main characteristics. First, the reference of the molding, second the molding width and third the finish. The suggested retail prices range from $70/foot (Ref. SMF-S1 - Wood finish) to $176/foot (Ref. SMF-C13 - Gilded with Metal Leaf). 22K Gold and other precious metals finishes are also available if you ever require it. Architectural molding has an approximate discount of a 15% over regular custom frame prices, but only applies for orders of more than 50 linear ft.


14. Do wholesale prices include delivery?

Yes. All of our prices include delivery to the address provided by you – Door to Door service.

15. Do you have any discounts for volume?


Although we have an established price list, we can work on an additional discount for big projects or volume orders. The discount will be established depending on the project/order. On architectural molding there is an approximate discount of 15% over custom frame price list, but only if the order is bigger than 50 linear ft.


16. How do you ship your products?

All orders are shipped professionally packed and crated. Usually they are shipped through DHL, but we can use other carriers. Shipping is done directly from our manufacturing facilities in Colombia to the address provided by you, although some times we can consolidate several orders directly to Miami, FL. and from there to each of our customers.


17. Do you provide your frames in standard sizes?

Not yet, but if you want to order any particular standard size frame we can develop it according to your needs. Discounts for standard frames will only be applicable with volume orders and it will be determined depending on the project.


18. How do I get a login and Password?

Once you become a dealer you will get your login and password. If you already are a dealer and don’t have your password, please contact us at: contact@sanmarcosframes.com.


19. How long does it take to receive an order?

Lead time is 4 – 8 weeks. On bigger projects time may vary and it can be scheduled on partial deliveries.


20. How do I place an order?

To place orders please contact our Sales Representative on your zone or contact us directly. If there is no Representative attending your territory, please contact us at: 1-888-822-0648 or via email at: contact@sanmarcosframes.com. All orders should be placed using the "Purchase Order Form" (POF). You can find more information regarding this particular issue in the link Dealer Information.
